Day 1: Delhi On arrival at Delhi Airport – Meet and Greet by Jody Travel representative. Transfer to the Hotel. Rest of the days is relaxed at hotel. Dinner and Overnight at Delhi. Day 3: Haridawar- Rishikesh – Haridawarmorning holy bath in river Ganga later visit Mansa Devi Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to goddess Mansa Devi return to Hotel . After breakfast proceed to Rishikesh approx 1 Hours . Rishikesh is a famous Hindu religious destination, popular amongst devotees, yogis and adventurers. The city is known as the world capital of yoga and meditation, and India’s sages have meditated here since ancient times. Visit Lakshman jhula, Ram Jhula, Triveni Ghat, Bharat Mandir, Trambakeshwar Temple, Lakshman Temple, Neelkanth Temple, Akhileshwar Temple . Dinner at Local restaurant . In time transfer to Haridawar railway station to board on train to Varanasi. Day 04 : kasiOn arrival at Varanasi Railway Station . The quintessential Spiritual city of India. One of the world’s oldest living cities. It’s also called as Banaras and Kashi. Meet and greet by the company representative. Transfer to the hotel. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel .Rest of the day is free to relax at the hotel. Overnight at hotel. Day 05 : kasiEarlymorning take a boat ride along the great Ganges, known locally as Mother Ganga- India's most sacred river. Magnificent view during the sunrise time when hundreds of people are worshiping and taking a bath. During boat ride visit all the famous Ghats of Varanasi including the famous Manikarnika Ghat where cremations take place round the clock. Later proceed to visit Kashi Vishwanath temple one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. Later visit Annapurna temple is dedicated to the Annapurna. . Later return back to the hotel. After breakfast at the hotel proceed for a full days sightseeing visit the Banaras Hindu University is formerly known as Central Hindu College. New Vishwanath Temple also is known as the “Birla Mandir” inside Banaras Hindu University. Later proceed to the Tulsi Manas Temple built by the royal family of Banaras in 1964. close to this temple is the Durga Temple (Monkey temple) dedicated to Goddess Durga. Later proceed to Sarnath approx 15 km from Varanasi. Lunch at Sarnath Local restaurant. Later visit Sarnath place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon to his disciples at deer park (Rishipattana). Other Local Sightseeing of Sarnath is the Buddha Temples, Dhamekha Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Mulagandh Kuti Vihara and the Archaeological Museum. In the evening proceed to Dashashwamedh Ghat. No vehicle zone guest have to walk or take a rickshaw to reach Dashashwamedh Ghat. witness Aarti ceremony at the ghat. the whole event takes around 45 minutes. Return to the hotel . Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel Day 06: kasi - AllahabadAfter breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Allahabad approx 110 kms / 3 Hours one way journey. Allahabad its also known as Prayag. It is the second-oldest city in India situated at confluence of Ganga, Yamuna & Saraswathi river also knows as Triveni Sangam. Visit Aanand bhawan also called as Swaraj Bhawan the former residence of Nehru family which has now been transformed into a museum and Bade Hanuman Ji Temple also known as ‘Lete Hanuman’ Mandir is dedicated to the lord Hanuman . It’s is closed to Allahabad fort. The statue of Lord Hanuman in Sleeping posture. In this posture,This is the only temple in whole India. Later proceed to Sangam And The Ghats confluence of holy Rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswathi . Take holy dip in Sangam with a belief to shed off their sins and attain ‘moksha’ (salvation). You can hire boat from Qila Ghat see the actual spot where the rivers converge. Return to varansi . . Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel Day 07: Varanasi- MaduraiAfter breakfast at the hotel. In time transfer to airport to board on flight to Madurai .On arrival at the airport you will be met and transferred to Hotel . Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel Day 08 : Madurai –RameshwarmMorning breakfast at hotel visit to Meenakshi Amman Temple. It is dedicated to goddess Parvati known as Meenakshi, and her consort, Shiva, here named Sundareswarar. After Lunch drive to Rameshwaram. proceed for a short excursion tour of Dhanushkodi, named subsequent to Rama's bow, which is at the eastern end of the island at a distance of 18 km from Rameshwaram. Rama Setu (Adam’s Bridge).The rest of the evening is at leisure for independent activities. Day 09: RameshwarmEarly Morning Visit the Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple, located on the island town of Rameshwaram. It is one of the four sacred Char Dhams in India. It also has a honour of being one of India's 12 Jyotirlingas. Also visit The Agni Theertham, the first water body situated outside the premises of Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple. There are 22 such theerthams in Rameshwaram. Hindus believe that a bath in all of these theerthams will wash away our sins. In time transfer to Airport /railway station for onward journey. |
