Nishkalank Mahadev Somnath Dwarka Tour

Nishkalank Mahadev Somnath Dwarka temple Tour is spiritual journey in the state of Gujarat.

Nishkalank Mahadev temple is located at the Koliyak village in Bhavnagar under the Arabian sea in approximately 1.5 kilometres from the sea coast.

The temple gets enshrined undersea due to massive waves.

The only thing which appears here is a pole and a colorful flying flags. Temple open timing is 1 pm to 10 pm. It is believed that Lord Shiva opens up the entrance for the pilgrims during these timings.

Day 01 : Ahmedabad – Bhavnagar

Welcome to Ahmedabad!! Ahmedabad is the second largest cosmopolitan city of Gujarat.

On arrival at Ahmedabad Airport you will be met and assisted by our company executive. Proceed to Bhavnagar.

It is 5th largest city of Gujarat and is also called cultural capital of the state. Enroute visit Lothal. Lothal is one of the most prominent cities of the ancient Indus valley civilisation. Upon arrival , Check into the hotel. Rest day is leisure or free. Overnight stay will at Hotel

Day 02 : Bhavnagar - Somnath

Breakfast at Hotel, check-out to Hotel. Proceed to visit Nishkalank Mahadev Temple- This temple is buried inside the sea. On a heavy tide day, all that can be seen are just the flag and a pillar. It is beyond one’s comprehension that there is a Lord Shiva Temple just under the fierce sea. This temple still exists, and people visit this place on foot! The temple has 5 distinct Swayumbu Shiva lingams inside.

En- route Lunch proceeds to Somnath. Upon arrival at Somnath, check into hotel.

The majestic Somnath Temple, also known as “The Shrine Eternal” is located at Prabhas Pattan near Veraval port in Saurashtra, Gujarat. No pilgrimage is complete without visiting this magnificent shrine built in honor of Lord Shiva. The word Somnath literally translates to “Lord of the Soma”, Soma being the Moon God. It is one of the oldest temples of India finding mentions in Rig Veda, Skandpuran, Shivpuran and Shreemad Bhagavad Geeta. It is believed to be the first Jyotirlinga among the 12 Holy Jyotirlingas

The temple is divided into three main areas – the Garbhagraha, the Sabhamandapam and the Nrityamandapam. The Shikhar of the temple is 150 feet high. The Kalasam or the Kalash weighs 10 tonnes. The flag pole at the top is 8.2 mt long. The temple reflects the skills of the Sompura Salats, Gujarat’s famed stone mason In evening Aarti Darshan at Somnath Temple - Enjoy lighting and sounding Show. Day 03 Somnath – Dwarka

Morning after breakfast visit Bhalika Tirth & Triveni Ghat.Later drive to Dwarka , En-route Porabandar, Visit Kirti temple, Sudam known as house & born place of Mahatma Gandhi. In back side house of Kasturba wife of Gandhi. Also visit of Gandhi museum, study room of Mahatma Gandhi in the Kirti temple.Later Proceed to Dwarka.

Dwarka: An ancient city, housing one of the principal pilgrimages - ‘Dwarkadhish temple’ of Hindus. According to the legend, Lord Krishna moved to this coastal town to set up a capital. Marine excavations of the Dwarka coast have revealed important evidences of ancient city, which probably include the ‘Dwarawati’ of the ‘Krishna Lila’. Upon arrival at Somnath, check into hotel. After Refresh visit Lords Dwarkadhish Temple. Attend evening Aarti Darshan at Dwarkadhish Temple – Temple of Lord Krishna. Dinner and Overnight stay will be at Dwarka.

Day 04 : Dwarka

Attend early morning Aarti at Dwarkadhish temple, have breakfast & thereafter visit Bet Dwarka, Nageshwar Jyotirling & Rukmani Temple.

Bet Dwarka – Also known as Bet Shankhoddar, Bet Dwarka is only 5 kms from Okha Junction in sea and Okha is 30 kms from Dwarka. It is said to be the place where Lord Krishna lived with his family when the ruled at Dwarka. It is also the place where Vishnu slew the demon Shankhasura. Visitors make it a point to visit the Krishna temple at this site which holds much of interest to be seen and experienced.

Nageswar Mahadev – The Puranas mention 12 Jyotirlingas or columns of light representing Lord Shiva, who manifested himself in that form in different parts of India. This Shiva shrine nearDwarka is one of these and is there- fore accorded great respect.

Rukmani Temple – Temple of Lord Krihsna’s wife.

Dinner and overnight stay will be Dwarka
 

Day 05 :Dwarka – Jamnagar – Ahmedabad

After breakfast, Check out hotel. Drive to Ahmedabad. En-route visit Jamnagar Bala Hanuman Temple - Bala Hanuman Temple is a pilgrim place venerated by the devotees of Lord Ram. It is a world famous temple, known for the continuous chanting of Jai Ram, Shri Ram. The chanting is going on since 1964 and has found a place for it in the Guinness Book of World Records. People chant the name of the Lord in shifts, 24 hours a day.Dinner and overnight at stay at Ahmedabad.

Day 06 : Ahmedabad – Dakor – Ahmedabad

After breakfast at hotel . Proceed to Dakor.

Dakor, in its earlier phases as pilgrimage centre in Gujarat, was famous for the Danknath temple, a place of shiva worship. In the later phases it developed into a Vaishnavite centre with the growing fame of Ranchhodrai ji temple, which was built in 1772 A.D. Krishna is called ‘Ranchhodrai’

Return to Ahmedabad. Visit Akshardham Temple (Monday Closed) Akshardham is situated in the capital city of Gandhinagar, which lies near Ahmadabad. The magnificent temple is dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan. It was constructed on the directions of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the spiritual leader of BAPS Sanstha. The complex of this temple is the largest in Gujarat. Akshardham temple was inaugurated in the year 1992 and has become a major tourist attraction in India, during the last decade. It has a sprawling 23 acre area and is chiseled out in pink sandstone. Dinner and Overnight stay will be Ahemebad.

Day 07 Ahmedabad Departure

After breakfast at Hotel. In time transfer to Airport for onward journene
