Afternoon arrival at Bhuj Airport. Pick up and start for Dholavira - it's a 130 Kms / 2 Hrs 30 Min drive. Dholavira, an ancient city of the Harappan civilization, offers a fascinating glimpse into India's prehistoric past. Located in the Kutch district of Gujarat, this archaeological site is one of the largest and most prominent of the Indus Valley Civilization. En-route, experience the Road to Heaven. Upon arrival, check-in to the resort. Then, visit the Dholavira Archaeological Site and Sunset Point. Back to resort for dinner at the respective dining area and rest. Overnight stay at Dholavira.
Day 2: Dholavira - Dhordo:Breakfast and check-out from the hotel. Start for Northern Kutch, visiting Gandhi nu Gaam (Handicraft Village), Kala Dungar (Black Hill – the highest point of Kutch), and India Bridge. Then, check-in to the resort (Near White Rann) and rest. In the evening, visit the Rann of Kutch (White Desert) and enjoy activities like camel ride, paragliding, camel cart ride, and also enjoy the amazing view of the sunset. Later, return to the resort to enjoy a Kutch folk musical program, dinner, and rest. Overnight stay at Rann of Kutch, near White Desert (Dhordo / Gorewali or Hodka Village).
Day 3: Rann of Kutch - Rajkot (330 Kms/7 Hours):After breakfast, drive to Rajkot. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Later, enjoy Rajkot local sightseeing. Overnight stay at Rajkot.
Day 4: Rajkot - Gir National Park:After breakfast, drive to Gir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary, also known as Sasan Gir. It is famous for Asiatic lions. Safari booking for the Gir jungle trail remains suspended from June 16th till October 15th every year due to weather conditions.
Safari Timing:
Morning Timing: 6:45 AM to 9:45 AM
Evening Timing: 3 PM to 6 PM
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Morning jeep safari. Return to hotel. After breakfast, proceed to Somnath, which is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites for Hindus and is believed to be the first among the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. Visit Bhalka Tirtha, Suraj Mandir, and Kamnath Mahadev located near the Triveni Sangam, en-route visit Parshuram Temple and Rudreshwar Temple, a ruined temple located near the Somnath temple.
Temple open: 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM
Aarti Time: 7:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 7:00 PM
Later, visit Somnath Temple, attend Aarti, and later watch the light and sound show. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Dwarka (approx. 5 hours). En-route, visit Madhavpur Beach, Kirti Mandir (the place where Gandhiji was born), and Sudama Temple (the only Sudama Temple in the world), Mul Dwarka Temple, and Harsiddhi Mataji Temple. Upon arrival at Dwarka, check in to the hotel. In the evening, attend Aarti at Dwarkadish Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7: Dwarka - Jamnagar (140 Kms/2:30 Hours):The sacred town of Dwarka. Visit Dwarkadeesh Temple, take a holy dip in the Gomti river, visit Nageshwar Jyotirling, Gopi Talav, and Bet Dwarka. On the way back, do visit Rukmani Temple, Bhadkeshvar Mahadev Temple, and Hanumaan Dandi Mandir. Later, proceed to Jamnagar. Overnight stay at Jamnagar.
Day 8: Jamnagar – Jamnagar Airport / Rajkot Airport / Ahmedabad Airport:Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Bala Hanuman Temple, known for its nonstop Ramdhun since 1956 and mentioned in the Guinness Book of World Records. In time, transfer to the airport for onward journey.
