DAY 01: ARRIVE SRINAGAR (BY SURFACE: 12 KMS – 45 MIN) Upon your arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our company representative who will be there to greet you. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Srinagar, which is approximately 45 minutes away by road. After checking in at the hotel and freshening up, you can begin your tour of Srinagar, also known as the "Lake City," which is truly paradise-like with its rivers, lakes, houseboats, and beautiful gardens. During your visit to Srinagar, you will have the opportunity to explore some of its most important sights, including the Shankaracharya Temple and Mughal Gardens. The Shankaracharya Temple is a Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva and is situated on the highest hill in Srinagar, providing a panoramic view of the city. You will also visit two of the most famous Mughal gardens in the city, Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. Nishat Bagh is the largest Mughal garden in Srinagar and is located on the banks of the world-famous Dal Lake. It is a garden of pleasure that boasts a stunning array of flowers in the spring and autumn seasons. Shalimar Bagh, on the other hand, was planted by Mughal Emperor Jehangir and is renowned for its beauty and tranquility. After a day of sightseeing, Dinner and Overnight stay will be at Hotel.
DAY 02: SONMARG EXCURSION (BY SURFACE: 84 KMS – 3 HRS) ONE WAY After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel, get ready to embark on a full-day excursion trip to Sonmarg, which is approximately 84 kilometers away and takes around 3 hours to reach. Sonmarg is popularly known as the "Meadow of Gold" due to its breathtaking beauty. Nestled in the Sindh Valley, Sonmarg is surrounded by picturesque mountains and streaming flowers, making it an idyllic destination to visit. As you travel towards Sonmarg, you will come across a tranquil alpine retreat surrounded by sycamore, silver birch, fir, and pine trees. It is also the last stop on the Kashmir side for the drive from Srinagar to Leh. After relishing a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the mountains. You also have the option of taking a horse ride to explore the beautiful surroundings instead of walking. Later in the day, you will return to Srinagar from Sonmarg and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel in Srinagar. DAY 03: SRINAGAR - PAHALGAM (BY SURFACE: 98 KMS – 3 HRS)ONE WAY OVERNIGHT IN PAHALGAM After enjoying a scrumptious breakfast at your hotel, get ready for an exciting day trip to Pahalgam, which is approximately 98 kilometers away and takes around 3 hours to reach. On your way to Pahalgam, you will visit the saffron fields of Pampora and an ancient temple that is over 1100 years old, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva. You will also visit the Awantipura Ruins, which were built by King Avantivarman in the 9th century AD. As you continue your drive towards Pahalgam, you will pass through beautiful pine forests and witness the confluence of the streams flowing from the Lidder and Sheshnag rivers. Pahalgam is also known as the "Valley of Shepherds," and it is surrounded by fragrant pine forests, making it an idyllic resort that includes a golf course and spots for angling. After enjoying a delectable lunch at a local restaurant, you can savor the cuisine and later proceed to witness the magnificent view of the mountains. You also have the option of exploring the beautiful surroundings on horseback. One of the most beautiful places to visit on horseback is the undulating meadow of Baisaran, which is surrounded by thickly wooded forests of pine. Later in the day, you will return to your hotel in Pahalgam from Srinagar, where you can enjoy a delicious dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 04: FULL DAY IN PAHALGAM Once you've had a satisfying breakfast at your hotel, you'll be delighted to learn that there are numerous places of interest to explore around Pahalgam. Due to the hilly terrain, it's recommended that you hire a pony to get around rather than walking on foot. This way, you can experience the surrounding beauty in comfort and without getting too tired. In the evening, you can enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night at your hotel in Pahalgam, feeling refreshed and energized for another exciting day ahead. DAY 05: PAHALHAM – GULMARG(BY SURFACE: 150 KMS – 4 HRS)ONE WAY Once you've enjoyed a satisfying breakfast at your hotel, get ready for a picturesque drive to Gulmarg, covering a distance of approximately 150 kms in 4 hours. This destination is also known as the Meadow of Flowers and is one of the most popular tourist spots in Kashmir.
Gulmarg is also home to one of the world's highest green golf courses, boasting 18 holes. If you're feeling adventurous, you can opt for a Gondola ride that takes you high above Gulmarg, offering stunning views of the pine-clad slopes. You can also take a pony track from Gulmarg that leads up to Khilanmarg, Kangdori, and seven springs. The journey can take a couple of hours by pony and longer on foot.
After lunch at a local restaurant, enjoy the magnificent views of the mountains. Later, return from Gulmarg to Srinagar, and finally retire for the night at your hotel in Gulmarg after a scrumptious dinner. DAY 06: GULMARG- SRINAGAR (BY SURFACE 56 KMS ) |
