Day 3 : Vellore-Kanchipuram-Mahabalipuram (150 Kms – 3 Hours)
After Breakfast at hotel . Visit Sripuram Sri Lakshmi Narayani Golden temple The temple is dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity, and Lord Narayana, the preserver of the universe. Later proceed to Mahabalipuram, the he captivating coastal town of South India. En- route stop at Kanchipuram, a revered city known for its magnificent temples.
Our first stop is the Kamakshi Amman temple, a place of great significance. Here, you'll witness the awe-inspiring sight of the presiding deity, Goddess Kamakshi, gracefully seated in the Padmasana Posture. Next, we'll visit the renowned Ekambareswarar temple, one of the Five Panchabootha temples symbolizing the element of Earth (Prithvi Lingam). Later proceed to Mahabalipuram upon arrival Check into the hotel. Rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight stay at Mahabalipuram.
Day 4: Mahabalipuram-Chennai Departure (55 Kms – 2 Hours)
Breakfast at hotel. UNESCO World Heritage Site of Mahabalipuram, also known as Mamallapuram. This coastal town is famous for its ancient rock-cut temples and exquisite sculptures. Five Rathas, monolithic rock-cut temples representing different styles of architecture, and the Arjuna's Penance, a massive relief carving on a rock surface depicting scenes from the Mahabharata. Visit the Shore Temple, a magnificent temple complex set against the backdrop of the Bay of Bengal. In time transfer to Chennai Airport for onward journey.
