4 Day Puri Konark Temple Tour Package from Bhubaneswar

Day 01: Bhubaneswar Rly. Station / Airport – Puri  ( 60 Kms / 2 Hours )

Upon arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport, the gateway to the capital of the Indian state of Odisha, you will be warmly welcomed by our company representative. Later, drive to Puri, covering a distance of approximately 60 kilometres or 2 hours. Puri holds a significant place among the four Dhams of Hindu religious sites, which include Rameswaram, Badrinath, Puri, and Dwarka known as the spiritual capital of Odisha.  Upon arrival ,Check in Hotel. Rest of the day free for own activities. Dinner and Overnight stay will be at Puri.

Day 02: Puri – Konark Sightseeing ( Approx 39 Kms / 1 Hours )
Morning visit world-renowned Shree Jagannath Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, also known as "the Preserver or the Protector," and Lord Krishna. Jagannath Puri Temple is open. Time starts at 5: 00 am. The day commences with the auspicious Mangal Arathi.  Timing devotees allowed for darshan are 5:00  to 8:00 am |  09:15 to 1:00 pm | 14:00 – 17:30 | 20:00 – 21:00.

After darshan drive to  Konark Temple, famously known as the Sun Temple. this architectural marvel has been honoured with UNESCO World Heritage status. Admire the temple's façade, adorned with two rows of 12 wheels on each side, offering different interpretations. Some believe that these wheels symbolize the 24 hours in a day, while others associate them with the 12 months of the year. Furthermore, the seven horses carved into the temple signify the seven days of the week, adding another layer of significance to this magnificent structure.

Later proceed to Chandra Bhaga beach a serene and peaceful beach located nearby. The first beach in Asia to receive the prestigious Blue Flag certification, a recognition bestowed upon environmentally friendly and clean beaches. Evening free for shopping at Sea side where you can get some unique ornaments & showpieces made by Shell. Overnight stay will be at Puri.

Day 03: Puri – Bhubaneswar  (65 KMS / 2 HRS)
Breakfast at the hotel Later, drive to Bhubaneswar, the capital of Orissa. En-route, visit the Sakhi Gopal temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. Later, proceed to visit the village of Pipli, renowned for its exquisite applique handicrafts. Later You will stop at the Dhauli-Kalinga battle, fought in the 3rd century BC. Visit the Shanti Stupa, also known as "Peace Pagoda," to see the fabulous statues of Lord Buddha .Later, visit Lingaraj Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva.  Lunch at Local restaurant.   After Lunch you visit the ancient Jain rock-cut shelter caves of Khandagiri and Udayagiri. These extraordinary caves, dating back to the 1st century BCE, offer a glimpse into the lives and beliefs of ancient civilizations.  The rest of the day is free. Dinner and an overnight stay will be in Bhubaneswar.

Day 04: Bhubaneswar Hotel – Bhubaneswar Rly. Station / Airport

After breakfast at the hotel, In time, transfer to Bhubaneswar Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
