Puri Gopalpur Konark Chilika Lake Tour

Day 01: Bhubaneswar Rly. Station / Airport – Puri
Upon arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport/Staton .The capital of the Indian state of Odisha. Meet and Greet by our company representative. Drive to Puri Approx 60 Kms/ 2 Hours. Among four Dhams of Hindu religion sites comprising (Rameswaram, Badrinath, Puri and Dwarka). Also known as spiritual capital of Odisha. It is believe to be an important spiritual destination for attaining salvation.Check In hotel .Rest of the day free for own activities. Dinner & Overnight stay will be at Puri.

DAY 02: Puri – Konark Sightseeing
Monrning visit world famous Shree Jagannath Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu “the Preserver or the Protector” and Lord Krishna. Temple was built in 15th Century AD and crowned with Vishnu’s wheel & flag dominate the landscape at Puri (Non Hindus are not allowed, but view it from outside platform). Puri Jagannath Temple Darshan Timing 5.00 am – 12.00 am . There are four gates of Lord Jagannath Temple openings for the devotees in the four direction. four gates are represented by the four animals . 1. Eastern Gate/Lion’s Gate/Simha Dwara 2. Southern Gate/Horse Gate/Aswa Dwara 3. Western Gate/Tiger Gate/Vyaghra Dwara 4. Northern Gate/Elephant Gate/Hasti Dwara.

Later proceed to Konark Temple also known as Sun Temple approx 3 Kms from Chandra Bhaga beach . Konark Sun Temple dedicate to Sun God - A UNESCO World Heritage site in India. Temple was built in 13th Century AD. Exceptional mixture of marvelous temple architecture. There are two rows of 12 wheels on each side of the Konark sun temple. Some say the wheels represent the 24 hours in a day and others say the 12 months. The seven horses are said to symbolize the seven days of the week.

Enjoy the serenity of Chandrabhaga it is a lovely and quiet beach . The first in Asia to get the Blue Flag certification — the tag given to environment-friendly and clean beaches, equipped with amenities of international standards for tourists. Evening free for shopping at Sea side where you can get some unique ornaments & showpieces made by Shell. Overnight stay will be at Puri.

Day 03: Puri – Gopalpur (155 Km / 5 Hrs)

After breakfast Check-out and transfer to Gopalpur.
The beach at Gopalpur is blessed with some of the most pristine shoreline on the eastern coast of India. This quiet beach stretches about half a mile on the shores of Bay of Bengal. The sand is free from shells and quite clean. The water is warm and comforting through out the year and ideal for swimming. The beach is quiet enough for you to find a spot for yourself to relax with the blue skies on the backdrop (except of course during monsoon) and the gentle breeze soothing the tired mind.

Evening arrive Gopalpur, Check-in at hotel. Overnight stay will be at Gopalpur.

Day 04: Gopalpur

After breakfast enjoy on the sea beach. Afternoon free for leisure. Overnight stay will be at Gopalpur.

Day 05: Gopalpur - Bhubaneswar (180 kms / 5 hrs)

After Breakfast Check-out and transfer to Bhubaneswar. On arrival Check-in to hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay will be at Bhubaneswar.

DAY 06: Bhubaneswar (Enroute Sightseeing) (65 Kms / 2 Hrs)

After breakfast at hotel. Check Out and proceed to Bhubaneswar - The modern city was designed by the German architect Otto Königsberger in 1946. En-route you will visiting Sakhi Gopal temple dedicate to Lord Krishna. Temple resembles a miniature temple of Jagannath Temple. It is believed among the devotees is that the pilgrimage to the Jagannath Temple at Puri would not be complete without a visit to this temple.
Later proceed to visit the village of Pipli - It is famous for designing beautiful Applique handicrafts. You can buy handicraft Bag/ladies purses. Later You will stop at Dhauli- where the great Kalinga battle is said to have been fought in the 3rd century BC visit Shanti Stupa also known as "Peace Pagoda” fabulous statues of Lord Buddha. It was built in 1972 by Kalinga Nippon Sangha & Odisha State government in 1972 . Later visit Lingaraj Temple dedicate to Lord Shiva Non Hindus are not allowed, but view it from outside platform). Lunch en route at Local restaurant. Later visit Khandagiri & Udayagiri ancient Jain rock-cut shelter caves dating as far back as the 1st century BCE.

Check In hotel. Evening is free. Dinner & Overnight stay will be stay at Bhubaneswar.

Day 07: Bhubaneswar Hotel – Bhubaneswar Rly. Station / Airport

After breakfast at Hotel. In time transfer to Bhubaneswar Airport / Railway Station for your onwards journey.
