DAY 01: BHUBANESWAR RLY. STATION / AIRPORT – PURI

As you arrive at Bhubaneswar Airport/Station in the morning, you will be warmly welcomed by our company representative. Bhubaneswar is the capital city of the Indian state of Odisha and serves as the gateway to some of the most revered Hindu pilgrimage sites in the region. From there, we will drive you to the charming coastal town of Puri, which is approximately 60 km away and takes about 2 hours to reach.

Puri is one of the four sacred Hindu Dham sites, along with Rameswaram, Badrinath, and Dwarka. It is often referred to as the spiritual capital of Odisha and is believed to be an important destination for attaining spiritual salvation. Please note that non-Hindus are not allowed to enter the Jagannath Temple, but you can still view it from the outside and marvel at its grandeur and magnificence.

After checking in at your hotel, take some time to rest and recharge after your journey. In the evening, we will take you on a visit to the world-famous Shree Jagannath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the preserver or protector, and Lord Krishna. This 15th-century temple is crowned with Vishnu's wheel and flag and dominates the landscape of Puri. The temple is open for darshan from 5:00 am to 12:00 am and has four gates that open in four directions, each represented by a different animal - the Eastern Gate or Lion's Gate (Simha Dwara), the Southern Gate or Horse Gate (Aswa Dwara), the Western Gate or Tiger Gate (Vyaghra Dwara), and the Northern Gate or Elephant Gate (Hasti Dwara).

After the temple rituals, spend some time soaking in the beauty of the Puri beaches and enjoy the soothing sound of the waves. DAY 02: PURI – KONARK SIGHTSEEING

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, get ready for an exciting day of sightseeing. First, visit the serene and picturesque Chandra Bhaga beach. This beach is the first in Asia to receive the prestigious Blue Flag certification, which is awarded to clean and eco-friendly beaches with top-notch facilities for tourists.

After spending some time soaking in the tranquil ambiance of the beach, proceed to the Konark Temple, also known as the Sun Temple, which is located approximately 3 km from Chandra Bhaga Beach. This magnificent temple is dedicated to the Sun God and is a UNESCO World Heritage site in India. Built-in the 13th century AD, it is a stunning example of temple architecture. The temple has two rows of 12 wheels on each side, and some believe that they represent the 24 hours in a day, while others think that they represent the 12 months of the year. The seven horses in front of the temple are said to symbolize the seven days of the week.

After exploring the grandeur of the Konark Sun Temple, proceed to visit other nearby attractions. In the evening, enjoy some free time to relax or go shopping at the seaside, where you can find unique ornaments and showpieces made from shells. Later, return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Puri.

Day 03: Puri – Bhubaneswar Rly. Station / Airport

After breakfast at the hotel. In-time transfer to Bhubaneswar Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.
